So it's been about 2 and a half months since I pulled up my website and typed anything into it. Sometimes I wonder if I should be allowed to have a website, because I am awful good at not doing anything with it.
Speaking of, I told a friend nearly a year ago I'd help him get his website running. Then I didn't because I really don't like doing things I do at work when I'm not at work. Call it selfish or lazy, but sometimes I get tired of building websites.
Well, I don't know what it was, but suddenly something hit me. Fucking use wordpress instead of my own craptacular backend. So I did it, and in 3 days (the time it took him to get me a design and for me to get around to templating it) he had a website (hint - click the link).
It also kind of inspired me. There were things in the wordpress backend that I do have and other things that I wish I did. being a developer is sometimes a tremendous curse, because if I think I can build it, I try. Until something awesomer catches my eye.
My wireless keyboard died today. I am sad. Now I have to learn another keyboard.
Also, Fringe. Kicks. Ass. I turn my television on for the express purpose of spotting the Observer, and keep it on for the crazy crap that goes on.
